Nepal Association of Tour Operators (NATO) is the premier travel trade association representing the interest of Nepalese tour operators of this Himalayan Kingdom. Our members’ are among the top names in tourism industry and represent the entire spectrum of vacation packages and tours available today in Nepal. Apart from leading tour operators, four major five star hotels, three leading domestic airlines, two five star resorts, one Golf Resort (18 holes) and the only cable car company are our allied members, which provide excellent services in their own sphere.

Apart from handling tours inside Nepal, all NATO members also organize tours to Tibet, Bhutan, Sikkim and other parts of India as well.

NATO has been working closely with scores of the international tour operators, including the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA), National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS), Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA), Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA) and the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO). NATO has signed Memorandum of Understanding with these institutions for mutual co-operation.

Each of these associations has been assured for quality tours and value-for money travel during the tourist’s stay in Nepal. NATO will guarantee services of its members insofar as to guaranteeing refunds in events of genuine complaints against its members.
